As I continue to search for vanities I find that I am still drawn to creating custom ones. On the most recent Fort Pond Cottage renovation I was able to create 3—mainly due to style and size constraint spaces. The choice to create a custom vanity for the master was inspired from the clients request to use an antique heirloom mirror—I married the more formal look with a modern twist. The material is walnut — and its inspiration is taken from a mid century dresser. I worked onsite with the carpenter to hone the shape of the integrated pulls. The two guest bathrooms are lacquered white wood, simple yet elegant for beach living
